FocusWell ("the Application") is developed and operated by Aksel Uğur ("the Developer") as a Freemium service, intended for personal productivity and focus tracking. This page informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

To provide our services and improve your experience, FocusWell collects and processes the following types of data:

Account Information: email address, username, and optionally phone number and age.
Session Data: start and end times, activity titles, reasons for ending a session.
Subscription Data: plan type (Basic or Premium) and activity status.
AI Analysis Data: productivity summaries generated from session logs (no personal text or message content is analyzed).
Device & Usage Data: anonymized analytics, error logs, and approximate location (for time zone adjustment).

2. Use of Information

To authenticate and manage user accounts.
To generate personalized productivity and AI reports.
To monitor usage patterns and improve app performance.
To send password reset or service-related emails.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU region). We apply encryption, access controls, and data anonymization where applicable. However, please note that no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Supabase – authentication, database, and storage
Firebase Analytics – crash reporting and analytics
Firebase Crashlytics – error diagnostics
OpenAI – optional AI-generated productivity reports

5. Cookies and Tracking

FocusWell does not use traditional cookies. However, it may use local storage or analytics identifiers solely for authentication and usage analysis. No behavioral tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

User data is retained as long as the account is active. Users can request data deletion by contacting support. Upon deletion, all session logs and reports linked to the user will be permanently removed.

7. Children’s Privacy

FocusWell is not intended for children under the age of 13. Users must confirm they meet this age requirement during registration.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of major changes through the Application or the official website.
